A new look, name and brand...

Welcome to Jen Neal Photography! This week I am thrilled to debut my new brand, which comes with an exciting new look and name. This process has been a true labor of love, and I owe much of the credit to Lauren Hooker, the talented owner and graphic designer of Elle & Company.

I first contacted Lauren back in February when I had a gut feeling it was time to invest in my business. After my first conversation with Lauren, I knew I was making the right decision. My former "brand" was something I had conjured up myself, using my maiden name and an obvious lack of Photoshop skills. It was good to me while I had it, yes, but I have grown, evolved in the last six years after owning my first "real" camera.

In that time span, I've learned more about photography than I could've dreamed, and I'm learning new things even today. I've had the wonderful honor of photographing growing families and beautiful relationships, all in the name of love. I've had the privilege of working with other creative professionals in this crazy industry. And I've grown immensely from a personal standpoint, particularly when a chubby, head full of hair, 8-lb boy arrived on the scene and changed my world forever.

So this past February, after much thought and reflection, I was ready for another change. It began with answering tough questions about my vision for my business and then months of collecting inspiration. After my intense 2-week design period with Lauren, which included an inspiration board, logo concepts, color options, client feedback and a million finishing details, what you see on this website is a brand that is 100 percent me. I couldn't be happier with the process and outcome, and I hope you love it as much as I do!

I want to thank Lauren again for treating my vision with such care. It's not easy to open yourself up, making yourself vulnerable, and she handled it beautifully. And a heartfelt thank you to everyone who has supported me over the years; your encouragement and confidence in me has made all the difference.
